Get Involved!
There are many places for you to get involved – being part of our church isn't about listening to the Pastor, and participating in Worship, it's also about getting involved and jumping in. We know that you will get more from helping than you'll give. So jump on in!
A note about qualifications – we believe that people serving in any area represent the church to the world at large and to our own members and attendees. For that reason, we want to make sure that people in service at Argyle agree with what we believe and with how we do things. The qualifications address both the spiritual and the practical; they are the minimum needed to fill a given position.
LifeGroup Host – leads a LifeGroup; insures meetings start and end on time; holds members accountable to the Group Agreement; makes curriculum decisions (with Group input); maintains contact with Group members; coordinates Group activities; helps identify and train a replacement; accountable to the Church's Group leadership.
Qualifications – born again, baptized believer; church member; trained; Spiritual Gift of Pastor/Shepherd, Encouragement, Administration, or Teaching helpful.

LifeGroup Host Home – provides meeting place for a LifeGroup in the home (may be combined with Group Leader).
Qualifications – born again, baptized believer; trained; Spiritual Gift of Service, Encouragement, or Pastor/Shepherd helpful.

Guest Services Team – provides ushers, greeters, ASK ME and Welcome Center staff on Sunday morning; answers questions, provides directions and assistance.
Qualifications – earnest seeker who agrees with our beliefs and methods; friendly, outgoing personality; desire to assist members and visitors have the best worship experience possible.

Children's Small Group Leader / Assistant Leader – committed to leading a small group of children by sharing God's Word and love on Sunday morning; use supplied curriculum and materials in a way children will understand and apply in their daily lives; partner with parents by being another adult saying the same things parents should say; multiple age groups (preschool through 6th grade) during the Worship Gathering.
Qualifications – born-again, baptized believer who agrees with our beliefs and methods; likes and works well with children; trained and familiar with our rules and procedures; consistent, accountable, and on-time; background check required. Spiritual gift of Service, Encouragement, Teaching or Administration helpful.

Landscape Maintenance Team – mows, edges, cleans and maintains the lawn, shrubs and grounds.
Qualifications – earnest seeker who agrees with our beliefs and methods; dependable; self-motivated; schedule is flexible.

Building Maintenance Team – light repair & maintenance; paint & wall touch-up; simple electrical & plumbing repairs; HVAC filter replacement.

Spiritual Gifts – each believer has one or more spiritual gifts, received at the time of our salvation. These gifts are for the benefit of the Church & God's Kingdom.
