We are a group of 7th - 12th grade students who seek to experience what it means to follow Jesus Christ in a community of other loving students and adult mentors. We desire to be caught up in the wonder of an amazing God, to discover our role in His grand story, and to passionately join in His mission of loving others and restoring His kingdom.
We meet on Wednesday nights at The Church at Argyle from 6:30 pm. to 8:30 p.m. This is a safe place to ask questions and to experience worship, in-depth teaching, service and ministry opportunities at home and abroad, food, fun, and get connected to a small group. All 7th through 12th grade students from any background are welcome.
The Church at Argyle is located at 6823 Argyle Forest Boulevard and we meet in the Family Life Center in the back of Building A.
The Youth Ministry Team is made up of adults with a heart for our youth and a desire from the Lord to serve. They assist and lead small groups in the exciting environments for students. The small group leaders are not just "Sunday School Teachers", but adults who invest in lives and encourage discussion rather than instruction.

The Impact Mission: to partner with parents in leading our youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through emphasis on community and family.
The foundation for what teenagers are taught is summed up in the 7 Checkpoints For Students:
Authentic Faith - You have to believe and trust in Jesus Christ as your personal savior if you want to go to heaven. But faith in Christ also allows you to live on earth in a daily relationship with a heavenly Father who loves you unconditionally. As an all-knowing and all-powerful father you can trust Him to lead you the right way.
Spiritual Discipline - God designed you to have a relationship with Him. Your intimacy with Him will provide the foundation you need to face whatever life can possibly throw at you. His friendship with you provides the ultimate fulfillment and security.
Moral Boundaries - Purity paves the way to intimacy. The most important thing you can do is to establish specific guidelines in your dating life. You need to learn how to protect your body and emotions by honoring God's plan for sex and morality.
Healthy Friendships - Your friends determine the direction and quality of your life. If you walk with the wise you grow wise. Spending time with right kind of friends definitely helps you grow in a positive and healthy direction. Scripture also teaches that "The companion of fools will suffer harm." Learn to build healthy friendships and avoid unhealthy friends.
Wise Choices - In light of past experience and future dreams, you need to ask yourself "What is the wise thing to do?" Good decision making is more than simply choosing between right and wrong. It is the skill of applying Scriptural principles so you can make smart choices which will protect your future.
Others First - Scripture teaches that God has created you to do good works and that he has given you unique gifts and talents. Discovering those gifts and using them to make an investment in others is a key to lifelong fulfillment.
Ultimate Authority - To have authority you must be under authority. The parents, teachers, and leaders that God has placed in your life are there to guide and guard your potential and life. The greatest lesson you can learn is how to respect and honor those who are in authority.
If you have any questions, please e-mail the Youth Pastor David Bass or find him on Sunday... he'll be the one in the Adidas that always match his shirt!
